The Randall Davey house tour on Fridays was our main objective. That was interesting in its self. It took about an hour or more. There is a lot to learn and see in the house and studio. The history of the artist was well explained....More

Short, well-marked trails in the woods on the side of a hill. We went in winter and didn't see many birds, but still a nice place to walk that's so close to the city.

We went here because our daughter loves birds and when you walk up the the visiter center you are greeted by several humming birds. The hike was awesome. They have signs telling you that it is getting more difficult. My kids (1,3and 5) were able...More

Past the galleries on Canyon Road is this woodsy sanctuary. Walking among the trees was a delightful change from the desert environment. We heard lots of birds but only spotted a black-chinned hummingbird and Steller's jay.

At just a few minutes' drive from Canyon Road, it really is worth a quick visit. Around the center (which has a lovely gift shop and some historic buildings) there are lots of birdfeeders that attract a range of birds and critters. The trails are...More

Very nice landscaping. The trail was short and we saw no birds or animals. We did see many wonderful sphinx moths!

A great place to easily see and photograph humming birds and a number of different seed eaters. There are some nice walks on the hill side as well. Go in the morning and evening, of course.
