It looks like a camel

This is a quick stop on your way north to Taos or Bandelier. Easy to see how it was named and a short paved walk up a small hill will get you close access.

years ago one was able to get close & today, obviously because people damaged it not so. It is OK if you have never seen it before but you can see it almost better from the highway.

This rock formation is visible from the highway. After trying to photograph it from the car we finally stopped and actually got pictures from the spot. Definately looks like a camel.

Totally cool. I have passed this monument several times and seen it from the highway next to it. Awesome. Must see.

Not much more to say. The posted pictures do it justice. I wouldn't go out of your way to see it, but you should at least watch for it from the highway.

A rock formation that looks like a camel. What else can be said other than it's worth a stop and a click.

A great place to see rock formations that are FUN! Not knowing about it and passing it on the freeway. Great place for a photo.

Thought it was interesting site as we were in Sant fe New Mexico. You can get off at next exit and view up close. Did' t see a need to do so.
