Really not much to see as far as a house goes. Some of the artifacts are interesting. The entrance is free but on your way in and out you got through a shop.

Very small space but interesting to stop if you're already in the area walking and enjoying the cool shops, restaurants and the mission next door. A few very cool artifacts.

The house is fun to see just because of its history and the gift shop seems to be above average in quality and quantity of artwork.

This structure is so cool and really neat that it is still standing. Highly recommend walking around these cute streets

This is an interesting place to visit and considering it's age it is in great shape. Very privileged to have been here an see this wonderful architecture.

You have to go through the junk shop to get into the house. There is a little history on exhibit, but it's minimal. The real objective is to get you in to buy stuff. On a positive note, the gentleman behind the counter was super...More

If you are already going to the San Miguel Mission next door to the Oldest House, go ahead and stop at the Oldest House. However, I wouldn't make a special trip. Much of the house has changed or been destroyed, so you only see a...More

I stumbled across this quaint little house by accident. The attached gift shop probably takes longer to browse than the actual house, which consists of a couple of tiny rooms, so once you've taken your photos, you can basically be on your way to the...More

A couple of small rooms attached to a gift shop, it takes a minute or two to take a look and say you were in the oldest house. Kind of cool in a way, but definitely not worth going out of your way for.

Redmond: I visited on a Monday, after touring the church. Don't expect this to be a mansion refurbished; it is a pioneer "hut" that has been preserved, but not restored. Keep in mind that houses then had only two rooms. The... More

Unfortunately I was there on a Monday and I do not remember seeing any sign with their hours. They have a gift shop so my guess is that they are open all the time. You may want to try calling them or look them up online.
