From the finest in independent films to the best in contemporary art!

The gallery has edgy, provocative work, the cinema has the movies you didn't know you needed to see. This is a must.

First, let me say that the the cinema is excellent. The visual art, however, was not good. There are two art exhibitions now - one a small photography selection and then an awful show of contemporary feminist art. The feminist show was the kind of amateurish, self-righteous crap that makes people who aren't artists hate artists. CCA should stick to... More

Went to see Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble this evening. Nice small theatre with comfortable seats. If they have a show you want to see, go.

My husband and I make regular visits to the CCA, primarily for foreign and artsy films and art shows. There are two movie theaters and an affiliated art space.

We frequent indie cinemas across the USA. This one compares well with others in similar cities. Plus, this one is located in a venue that includes art exhibits and performances. Take your time and walk around. The Bataan Death March Museum is a short walk away, too. The movies are always interesting, entertaining, challenging, and/thought provoking.

The curator or feature scheduler of this theater is fabulous. Two screens enables it to show a variety of subjects. They work with the Santa Fe Opera and the Jewish Gil festival to bring special events. Seats are comfortable.

If you LOVE movies, you'll love this movie theater. They RESPECT the entire movie-going experience with real butter on the popcorn, fresh brewed coffee, and soft seats in a roomy, old-school theater. A nice break from the mega-plex!

We first went to this theater on Museum Hill a few months ago and saw Under the Skin, a Scarlett Johansson film. It was a decent screening, and the seats were comfortable. The popcorn is very good--real butter! A couple of weeks ago we saw Chinese Puzzle. We were in a different auditorium, seats were very comfortable and it seemed... More

With a stadium seat auditorium with new comfortable seats, this is a well curated film theater. A second room has been added and a lobby with tables has been established for refreshments. They have plans to link up to their art gallery which has interesting and stimulating exhibits.
