This space has so much potential—it’s sad the city isn’t investing more in it. We came with small kids and there is so little here for them. We thought we would go to this park because it’s one of the very few with a playground....More

We stayed across the street at The Sage Inn and walked to dinner through the paths of this little beauty of an area. Lots of beautiful flowers, herbs, art and a couple of bunnies. There's plenty of places to sit and smell the roses!!

The Railyard Park (not to be confused with the Railyard District) is full of interesting native plants, gardens, native bee houses and even a time capsule. There are programs happening all the time, workshops, classes, art openings and all for free. Definitely check this place...More

To be fair, this is probably nicer in the Spring or Fall. In the Winter, it is pretty desolate and not all that interesting. If you are a photographer and enjoy graffiti art, this is a much more vibrant walk, but not wonderful.

We stayed in an AirBnB Casita in the Railyard District. The Railyard Park was a short walk from the casita. The creative use of the old railyard is inspiring with many little paths, stone work, and landscaping features to engage the senses. I particularly enjoyed...More

This park borders the Rail Runner rail line and is next to the Farmers Market area. The park has events spaces, child play areas, park benches, and a wonderful collection of plantings, that brighten the area and make it feel welcome. It is close to...More

Ken Smith did a brilliant job with this space. It is so thoughtfully laid out. The plantings are beautiful. There are plenty of interesting views from the different paths that cross the park. The play structures for kids are very cool and feel like pieces...More
