The Association maintains an excellent area at the Giant Forest Museum. They had some creative souvenirs--including a bat puppet. I know a 4-year old who will love it.

Back in the day this was the bar and pool hall...but now it has been transformed into a really nice museum/information center. Well worth the visit...before you get out and hike!

This is a non for profit outfit that uses its revenue to support Sequoia and Kings Canyon national park. You can hire a guide to take you and your group on a half day or full day hike. I hired a guide just for myself...More
