I wouldn't go here as a Target visit unless I was an avid fan of 1800 and early 1900 transportation. We walked the museum in 30 minutes. It was fascinating- why did most of the gas vehicles have right side steering? Don't know- just saw...More

The admission is free when you purchase a Cavern ticket so why not walk through. Much more interesting than I anticipated. It gives an historical perspective.

Lots of old cars for the older people to reminiscence about. Kids love to them too so it's for all ages.

This was my first visit to the museum and definitely interesting. Lots of beautiful vehicles from the past or as my 6 yr old grandson said, "The Olden Days". Definitely worth the visit but beware of the pricey fudge either side of the museum entry.

The cars showcased show the development of the automobile from inception thru WWII years. Amazing collection of rare rides. The 1915 Dodge was one of my favorites, being a Mopar buff and all.

Very beautiful cars from times gone by. Especially liked the Mercedes. Very nice staff were welcoming and helpful to us and our pooch.

My partner and I purchased tickets for Luray Caverns and this museum was included in the ticket price (no choice). It's right next to the Caverns entrance and gift shops. If you are interested in very old cars, it was interesting. The cars date back...More

This car museum is a nice addition to the Caverns, the museum is not very large but it has a nice collection of cars.

The Car and Carriage museum itself would take about an hour. If you plan to enjoy the caverns and other sites you'll want to plan 3 to 4 hours. The cavern tour is scheduled for just over 1 hour.
