Overview

Tlingit Native Dancers enter with beautiful regalia, mesmerizing the audience with ancient songs handed down through generations of these first Sitka peoples. The performance begins with the resonating sound of the box drum and the aroma of burning cedar in a traditional style Tlingit Clan House. Learn a few words of Tlingit and see one of the Pacific NW's largest carved house screens.

Saw the group perform 2 different times. I enjoyed the performance and it was very good they had explained the tribal history. Also good to see younger kids be involved in their heritage.

This is an excellent ethnic show (Tinglit) which is performed by locals in a purpose built hall. At half an hour there is enough time to tell their story and the performers were available after the show to discuss their culture and pose for photographs.
