We were in awe of the children who danced for us. It was so fun to see the "elders" passing down traditions to the next generations. Even saw a couple cute babies carried by their mothers raising their little hands and copying mom.

Our cruise arranged a show of the native dancers which was very interesting. The traditional costumes and story telling through dance was incredible. Dancers were both young and adult. The traditional musical istruments with voices of the dancers was great.

Be sure to visit when a program is offered. The interior of the hall is beautiful. Locals young and old told stories, played drums and danced. A highlight for us.

We stayed for the native dance and narrative show. The young woman doing the speech was pleasant and funny. The dancing had women and children. The children were darling, and enjoyable to watch.

Though not much to see, but learning the life of the Native Indian is worth a while. The building is near the Totem Square and the Alaska Pioneer Home.
