Bring the kids to this outdoor sculpture garden where the Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, and other beloved Dr. Seuss characters are immortalized in bronze, life-size statues all designed by Geisel's step-daughter, sculptor Lark Grey Dimond-Cates.

It was very cute. Well worth the 5 minuet stop to take a look. We were in town for a conference and walked past it. There is not much to do in Springfield. So this was a nice treat.

Very nice sculpture garden in honor of Dr. Seuss and his books. There are approximately 4 sculptures to view. We took a nice family photo there. It's free!!

There is free parking in a lot behind the museums. Also there is some free on street parking if lot is full, which is hardly ever.

I think they would love it if they know the characters from the books! However, I don't think it would be worth the 2 hour drive just for the garden.
