Despite my requests to write review of this Park, they are not recorded. The Stone Soul Festival used this park for their annual event & I report in detail the racist words & actions by 3 Black women serving food in the line. The park itself is a public space & cannot be held responsible for horrible, out-of-date, unacceptable actions... More

This is park is safe. it constantly has people in it and it is patrol regularly. The running track is probably my favorite thing about the park. The people in the area are very friendly and will greed you.

I live in Springfield and Blunt Park is not an attraction. There is not much to see or do in this park. I would not bother to go there and it is not in the greatest section.

In a city as large and heavily populated such as Springfield, these little parks offer residents a place to go to get away from it all. Recently, I drove by the skating pond (not the arena) where I learned to skate as a child. The pond was overgrown with weeds and looked forlorn. Blunt Park used to be an open field that seemed to stretch for a mile (as a kid would see it). Now there is a school that takes up most of the openness... More
