Feels like Christmas

This is a family activity we do whenever we are in MA for the holidays. It's really fun and well done.

It was good the first year, and created much needed money for the city. But after that, its now just a tradition that we have to do. Recently, I don't think anything new has been added.

I LOVE taking a casual walk or fat burning jog! Friendly regulars. Great for dog walking. Baseball diamondseason for pick up games. Great for casual family outdoor gatherings.

We went to see the Bright Nights display last night at Forest Park. We have not been in many years because our children have grown, but were looking for something different to do before going out to dinner. Purchased a discounted ticket at Big Y which saved us a few dollars. Not too much traffic on a Tuesday night, but... More

Wonderful, slow ride through some truly beautiful Christmas Light configurations! Loved the entry point poinsettias, the Nativity, the blue and white carousel, the shining lights on the pond, the jumping/frog, and the jumping-over-the-car reindeer!! A very cheery, inexpensive way to enjoy the Christmas Season!! (Make sure you get your discount ticket at Big Y!) The kids will love Horton, the... More

We were there to see the bright lights Christmas lights, purely by chance as we were passing. They were the best light show of its type we have seen, superb. A 3 Mile slow drive through a winter wonderland . You can stop for refreshments but we did not. My advice would be to go and see, look out Blackpool... More

My sister and I come here every time I visit. We get a bag of peanuts in the shell and some bread and we go feed the black squirrels (which are grey squirrels with a mutation), the bluejays, and the chipmunks. There are absolutely great photo opportunities: roses in the summer, foliage in the fall, and ducks and swans, and... More

I walk here regularly the scenery is beautiful. There is a zoo and train (seasonal). Ball fields, picnic areas and duck ponds. The winter has Bright Nights.

My son and his family live across the street from Forest Park and each ttime me we visit we spend hours, walking, picnicking and sitting by the lake. There are always folks here who are walking dogs, strolling with babies, playing soccer and baseball and settling in for picnics at dozens of sites around this beautiful Frederick Olmstead designed Park....
