My fiancée & I love our walks at Lake Scranton! So gorgeous & serene.... unfortunately they do not allow pets. That is the only downside... if that changed I would rate it 5 stars.

Be alert, deer in the woods. Fresh air, no vehicle traffic, no loud music, set your own walking or running pace. And it is free !!!!

Beautiful paved trail around the lake. Beautiful. Geese stay year round. Lots of wild life. Beautiful wild flowers.

It is a beautiful wooded area with a paved path around Lake Scranton. There is a parking lot. It is a reservoir so you can not go in the lake.

This is definitely a commitment at around 3.5 miles (I think) but in the right weather it is definitely worth it. There is a great variety of moss that I collect for terrariums I make. That is why I visit frequently and enjoy myself every...More

Three and one half miles of peace and quiet. Hills, long flats, and great scenery. Ive been running and walking here since 1975 and miss it, living in Harrisburg now. Still off limits to bikes, skaters and trouble makers. Used to run around it 3...More

This is a good long walk around scranton lake which helps provide the area with fresh water. The only downfall is the lakes conspicuous absence of toilet facilities

This trail is paved all the way round, and, since it stays fairly close to the lake, it's pretty level. Because it's a reservoir the trail stays well away from the water. It's really just a walk in the woods, with no spectacular views. Beware...More

It was re-opened and then re-closed. I believe there is work being done on the dam and entire loop is not open.

There is another entrance that is wheel chair accessible it's the one that has limited parking. Then the main parking lot had a steep incline that I would not recommend taking an electric WC.
