Pleasant historic place to visit for war buffs. Nice walk and wheelchair accessible. Nearby park good for picnics and play equipment for the kids.

Very interesting for anyone who is a Civil War history fan. A well preserved portion of a Civil War earthworks fortress, you can get a good idea of how it looked when it was an active fort.

Easy parking and nice walking trails take you on a tour of this historic Civil War site. Signage on site explains in detail the various features you can still see. Definitely worth the trip!
