This is a beautiful canyon to drive through, winding roads and a creek that I am looking forward to camping at. Oak Creek Canyon is intriguing with many trails. We left Sedona and pulled over here to look at jewelry vendors. I got a stunning...More

Great roads, beautiful views! Very different type of forest than I'm used to out east, but this was great.

A lot of great trails to walk and some to climb. Breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. A must see in the area. We stayed in Flagstaff and it was a short, scenic drive. Remember to bring water and enjoy!

Beautiful scenery, walk as far or as short as you feel, very relaxing strollling along the pathways, looking at all the different plants.

Beautiful and breathtaking views of all that is Northern Arizona, the National Forest has a variety of trails at different levels that are well-maintained and well marked. Bring water, wear a hat, and enjoy every moment.

We passed through en route and had very little time to explore - had no idea that it would be as impressive as it is - it looks well worth incorporating into a future trip.

This area was extremely scenic. One of the locals at the welcome center helped us with many ideas for touring the area. They made the trip that much better.

This national forest location is a delight. Forest groves, some very well thinned and cared for, others awaiting attention. It's easy to get in the car and go there, because the signs are very clear and large enough not to miss as you drive around....More

Not the “Big Guys/Gals” to far north by 1 hour of driving. Smaller species for sure.
