This is a beautiful area. If you want to get out of the snow & cold weather and into the great quiet peaceful outdoors, this is the place to head towards.

Get yourself here! It is just spectacular! Drive through Oak Creek Canyon. Be sure to stop as often as you can to take any or all of the amazing trails the forest has to offer.

We went into this monument after Sunset Crater National Monument. The view of the painted desert is fantastic from this park.
