There are so many places to see and stop in Coconino National Forest. We would recommend adding it to your list of places to visit while in AZ!

We all enjoyed seeing this unique part of the country. We have never been to Arizona and enjoyed the beautiful views.

So many trails to choose from! The scenery can be quite different depending on where in the National Forest you are. Loved the variety.

Huge with lots of different trails and views to see. It’s beautiful to drive through with a few stops. Our daughter had fun too with the different types and sizes of rocks and cool trees.

Marvelous forest that that displays all the natural beauty of the Red Rocks. This is a place that requires a few hours to travel though (or trekked through, if you are fortunate enough to have the time to spare). We took the time to hike...More

This is a beautiful canyon to drive through, winding roads and a creek that I am looking forward to camping at. Oak Creek Canyon is intriguing with many trails. We left Sedona and pulled over here to look at jewelry vendors. I got a stunning...More

A lot of great trails to walk and some to climb. Breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. A must see in the area. We stayed in Flagstaff and it was a short, scenic drive. Remember to bring water and enjoy!

The Coconino National forest covers a lot of Northcentral Arizona, including the Grand Canyon , Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. There has been a lightning sparked fire in Oak Creek Canyon burning for months, but has not spoiled the beauty at either end of the...More

Coconino is a large forest (quite a spread), if in Sedona, there are a lot of places to see, on Wednesday and Thursday you most likely be alone. Bell, cathedral, the vortexes, are all short driving distance from town. You... More
