The room was clean, and the wi-fi was good. There was no air-conditioning, no coffee pot, no refrigerator , no microwave, and no hair dryer. We did have a fan in the room and it was cool enough we didn't need the air-conditioning. The bed...More

We were so excited to take the scenic chairlift and were thrilled that we beat the monsoon storm to do this. It is better to take it in the morning as it gets closed often in the afternoon due to storms. It is simply a...More

We enjoyed the ski lift ride up and back and the views from the top. A lovely way to get up to one of the highest points in the area (11,500 feet). We were glad that we came prepared for the cool temperatures at the...More

Took scenic chairlift. WOW. It was so beautiful. Went up to 11,500 ft elevation so a few things to prep for. Much cooler at top, different weather patterns at top and less oxygen at top. So drink and take water, take a light jacket/rain coat...More

We love Snowbowl, summer or winter. Been going there for decades and it's always enjoyable. Skiing is wonderful and an easy drive from Phoenix. In summer, the chairlift ride is fabulous and the Visitor's Center had a $5 off coupon making it even more worthwhile....More

If you're coming from Phoenix, rent your gear from a shop down here and then head up for the day. It'll be a lot cheaper. If you're a college student and plan on going two or three times during the season, get a student pass...More

Every time we come to Flagstaff in the summer, we head out to the Snow Bowl and take the ski lift up Mr. Humphreys. It is amazing. There is a well maintained paved road off Rt 180 that climbs through the forest for about 7...More

We dropped in to do some hiking in the afternoon. Getting to this place is kind of an ordeal - you drive for around 20 minutes through the mountains, full of switchbacks. It was slow going. Once we got there, we parked and started walking....More

I don't thin you can go sledding in the Snowbowl area. However, there are hills in Flaggstaff but I an not sure where they are. If you google sledding and flagstaff you might have some luck!
