Pleasant 35 miles per hour drive though pine forest to get to Walnut Canyon National Monument. We were sorry that due to time constraints, we couldn't explore some of the trails.

We took a nice drive on Walnut Canyon Drive. Its a scenic drive. There is nice Ponderosa Pines along the drive. We visited the visitor center at Walnut Canyon, which was interesting, as well as took a hike.
