We followed advice from other reviewers: => Get there as early as you can manage, => Great weather day for sledding we arrived by 8:30 (easy parking) => Road in is understandably rough (don't come in a low-rider !) => Great options for size of hills / length of sledding run => That was critical for us with a 3... Yesterday we went sledding at Wing Mountain Snow Play Area. It was such a great day. We paid $20 for our family to play there, but it is well worth it. They had portable bathrooms! Now if you have ever traveled with your kids you know those bathrooms are needed. They had employees helping to man the area so kids... More

6 families traveled together to Wing Mtn to sled and play in the snow. There had been snow earlier in the week but as we learned, it melts fast. We were able to sled on most areas but a few were closed due to lack of snow. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the gates opening and were about the... More

Great place to take the kids and go sledding my kids had a blast. The staff are great they tell you where to park everything well organized. I do recommend to go a little early before 11:00 am due to the big waiting line to get in. I recommend this place if you have young kids they will love it.

For those people who grew up living in the snow belts of the U.S. going out of your way to find snow seems like a crazy idea. For many Phoenix and Tucson area residents however, this is an annual ritual that occurs each December-February when families jump into the car and drive to Flagstaff once at least a foot or... We took my son here for his birthday, and everyone had a blast. While I don't remember what we paid to get in, there was a gate fee -- cash only. Once you're in, there is a little booth that sells sleds and hot chocolate (again, cash only), but you'd do better to bring your own gear. We brought inner... More

Most locals HATE this place - it is like an unwashed dog of a place... "invites fleas"... The Phoenix and Valley people come up to get their snow fix in the winter, and that would be just fine - but they come up in legions, slam the roadways with overpacked beater cars and pickemup trucks, dominate the landscape, are super... Wing mountain play area is great place to do some fun sledding and hang out. Lots of kids hitting the "slopes" from very mild to pretty steep and fast. Hadn't had much snow, but hey, icy is great for sledding. They have a small set-up for drinks and sleds, CASH ONLY. Fun times👍

Our family went to the Wing Mountain Snow Play area in February 2016. Reading other reviews, we arrived early. Since it was late in the season, there was plenty of room, and we didn't have to worry about overcrowding. The kids enjoyed sledding, building snowmen, and throwing snowballs. Staff were polite, and I thought the Gift Shop prices were very... More
