Symphonic Fan-Fare, the 67th season of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra,...

Symphonic Fan-Fare, the 67th season of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, promises to be enticing, energizing and interactive! Join us to fondly bid adieu to Maestra Elizabeth Schulze after nine years of her outstanding artistic direction, as she conducts the first and closing concerts of the 2016/17 season. Whose pacesetting vision will next shape the orchestra for the seasons to come? Engage in the exciting process of "auditioning" the four final candidates for our next Music Director by attending a momentous line-up of the remaining concerts. Orchestra fans will love the fare as each candidate conducts a well-loved symphony from the classical repertoire. Audience members will also have occasions to meet these fine musicians as they share their individual talents with northern Arizona's premier orchestra. Experience five conductors in one unforgettable season of Symphonic Fan-Fare!

The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra in Flagstaff, AZ is an incredible community gem. The orchestra has been in existence for over 65 years, starting out in an historic building in the downtown area and playing now in Ardrey Auditorium on the campus of Northern AZ University. Their 65th season just ended. The masterwork's season typically runs from September through April but... More

My Wife and I went to see the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra the other night to hear Carmina Barana. The Master Choral of Flagstaff, Shrine of the Ages Choral and the Flagstaff Youth Choral were a perfect match for the orchestra. This performance was first rate and received an instant standing ovation. It was as fine a performance as if it... More

Certainly not inexpensive but well worth the money. Parking can be a problem if you don't arrive early.

I have heard concerts in San Francisco, Phoenix and Boston, and Flagstaff provides some of the most amazing artists I have heard. the conductor is amazing, the concert fabulous, and the prices so reasonable you can buy a season pass for the family. Check it out.

Great concert on April 11, 2014. The symphony blended with and at times lead a great group of rock musicians, many from Canada. Classic pieces from Chicago; Blood, Sweat and Tears; Earth, Wind and Fire, and others. The concert took place on the Northern Arizona University campus auditorium. A decent but not really contemporary venue up to the standard of... More
