Perfect Park for All Ages

Grassy landscape, trees to climb, tennis courts, playground, trails in the back, disc golf in forest backing up to park, picnic tables, swings...what's not to love?

I love Thorpe park for it's disc-golf course. It takes about an hour and winds its way through some beautiful ponderosa pines. There is a dog park nearby, a kids play area, picnic benches, and more.

This is a great park! An area for the little ones to run and play on great equipment. A little further down the road and the bestest off leash enclosed dog park. Lots of trees!!!!

Flagstaff has a great network called Flagstaff Urban Trails System (FUTS). The Observatory Mesa Trail starts from the Thorpe Park Bark Park parking lot and winds up through the pines. Away from the city yet just blocks from downtown.

We were in Flagstaff to explore the nearby national parks and monuments with our 7- and 3-year-old boys. We needed a place to have a picnic lunch and, after a bit of research, found Thorpe Park. Once we figured out the best place to park near the picnic area (hint: turn into the community center parking lot and go thru... More

The fields here are usually in great shape. It pretty much is the only complex in town and has a great view of the peaks while your playing. There is a play area for kids and seems to be done very well.

it took a while to queue up but it was around 20 minutes, rides were well staffed. lots of facilities i.e. toilets, food courts, arcades, sweet stalls etc. Rides were thrill seeking. if you go on tidal wave or are any ware around it prepare for a soaking. I loved Thorpe park highly recommend it.

We have taken our 5 month mix puppy to the bark park a few times now. Overall, the park is great! Plenty of balls and Frisbees, plus agility equipment for the more adventurous dogs. Most of the people we have met there are great! The only down side is that due to our pup being so young, he gets extremely... More

We were hoping for a full on, let them off the leash dog park, but instead found a nice little park that allows dogs... On leashes. Traveling through and staying the night. Was hoping to let the dog run a bit off leash. Not the case, although in the upper BBQ area, there were several dogs off leash with their... More

Nice open place with 1.5 acres for the dog to run - easy to get to and just what we needed before a long drive.
