While staying in Chautauqua, we met friends who live in Buffalo at a Sahlen Field to see the Buffalo Bisons play the Rochester Red Wings. The stadium is easy to get to, but parking is a bit of a challenge as you have to reserve a spot in a downtown lot and navigate city streets to find it. The ballpark itself is lovely, with reasonable prices for tickets and great sightlines from every seat in the place. It’s also very family friendly, with lots for the kids. On the day we visited, it was Disney princess day (lots of Elsas in the crowd) and Kids Run the Bases. Unlike our hometown team, the Washington Nationals, adults can also go down on the field to watch their kids run the bases, so we got to walk the circumference of the warning track and take pictures down on the field while our friends’ young son ran the bases. He also got an autograph on the baseball he’d brought from one of the Bisons’ players, who was talking to his

I attended the game on May 7, 2022 against the Durham Bulls. The stadium was great before, add another 20 million in upgrades you have a wonderful baseball experience. The playing field is updated, new foul poles, bigger dugouts, new lighting etc. The concessions offer a large variety of food, I recommend the local favourite, Beef on Weck. Excellent. Washrooms were clean and abundant, and the entire facility was very clean. It happened to be a Promotional Day - "Dog Day". Great Fun! Oh, and I didn't get to parking yet - close parking was available for only 10 dollars. I will return to this venue many times!

When it comes to Old Style Ballparks, Sahlen Field is one of the Best. Lots great sight lines and cool due to its proximaty to Lake Erie. Lots of terrific food and a large number of reasonably priced beers. The fans are friendly and most Buffalo Bisons games are a fun events.

We bought our tickets at the box office about half an hour before game time. We got a couple of great seats behind home plate (about 6th row). Great view and a fun game. It was a Friday night and had a nice family atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone who likes baseball at a reasonable price.

We decided last minute to travel from Canada to see a Bisons game. Though we purchased seats, we opted to sit in Bully Box as we prefer wine. Loved the seating there. Bartenders up top were lovely.
We did have a LOT of wasps around us... would be a nice tough to have some wasp traps out.
Game was great fun. We will definitely be back!

We watched a Blue Jays game here when they played in Buffalo. Great ballpark. Easy to get to the park, nice downtown area, and great sightlines for the field. Enjoyed seeing a game here.

Great sport complex for Minor League baseball. Good food, great fun. Typical baseball stadium that also has other events. Concerts, food tasting. Summer time fun spot.

Went there recently for a Friday night game against the Toledo Mud Hens. Got ticket coupons at the Fort Erie Duty Free. $48 CDN got me 3 tickets and $15 in Bison Bucks (Redeemable for anything in the stadium including beer). This is awesome AAA Baseball watching future Blue Jays. Watched Vladimir Guerrero hit one out on his first at bat. And the Bisons went on to win. Only downside: When we went to the box office to exchange our coupons for tickets, I specifically asked for an end aisle. He assured me these were aisle seats. When we arrived and found our seats, they were perfectly in the middle of a row. Really Dude??

We went during the Blue Jays Bison's affiliate day. Fred McGriff & Kelly Gruber were at the ball park. We sat about 3 rows behind home plate. The tickets were cheap compare to an MLB Game. Tons of give aways during the game. The food was great. They except the Canadian dollar at par!! What's not to like!!!

We are big Toronto Blue Jays fans but live equidistant between Toronto and Buffalo where their farm team plays. We go to the Jays at least once a summer but getting there is always a challenge with driving and parking and good seats are very expensive. But..the Buffalo Bisons offer a very viable alternative plus you often see players that have just been up with the big club or are on rehab. We ordered the tickets online..$12 each for almost behind home plate. We left home in St Catharines, crossed the border and arrived at the Coca Cola Park in 45 minutes. Parking was 5 min walk away and $5.00 CAN vs easily $15-20 in Toronto and much farther away. We walked right up to Will Call...got the tickets immediately. We went inside and quickly found several concession stands, one selling Chardonnay and Pino by the little bottles that similar to what you get on planes. Beer was sold with the hot dogs so you did not have to line up someplace else. We got all that and were in our seats (terrific ones I might add) 1hr and 10mins after leaving St Catharines with absolutely no hassle. We saw 3 players who had been with the Jays the week before and are now up with them again. All in all, a great experience and very relaxing.
