Food truck Tuesdays quickly became a regular event over the summer. Larkin Square is the best venue with its seating, bandstand, and space for the food trucks. We appreciated the seating around the bandshell ad around the square. A great place to spend time with family and friends.

While all sorts of artistic entertainment takes place in the locality, it also offers insight to the industrial past of the city. It is maintained as a charming beauty in almost the middle of the city. It can be part of roaming around in the city.

We haven't been to food truck Tuesday in about 4 years so we decided to give it another try. The first time we went there was only like 6 food trucks, now there is over 20 but the thing that stinks is about 8 food trucks were about 2 blocks away from all the action, we didn't know they were there till we were in the car heading home, and it wasn't posted anywhere more trucks down the street. DRINKS..........I can see $3 or $4 for a simple plastic cup of beer but $6 that's a bit steep, (but Buffalo people love to drink so they pay it) The food trucks are very pricey too at my standards for what you get, desserts were from $4.75 to over $7.00 and the pieces were tiny. Dinner plates started around $8 and went to $14 again for the portion you get I personally didn't think it was worth what you paid, sure it tasted good but not for $12.00 for a salad. It gets super crowded super fast so if you are smart you will bring your own lawn chair that way you are guaranteed a seat. We arrived at 5:15 (it runs from 5-8) and all the tables, seats and chair were spoken for already. They have a band that plays under a coverered patio, but go on site to see what kind of band is playing. The band on July 16th was mediocure at best, but it was just nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather as summer is so short here in Buffalo. There is a small section for kids to do things and security does check your license to give you a wrist band to prove you are old enough to drink. It was fun for one night but at those prices you can't afford to do it every week unless you are just going to listen to the music then go elsewhere to eat. We ate something small then went for ice cream where the cones are much bigger and the prices much cheaper.
