We stopped at a 1834 vintage Inn on BelleVue Avenue and the Building.s the shops,coffee shops Meseums and Restaurants were excellent. A most for all Newport visitors
We enjoyed walking along Bellevue to and from the mansions. They have a lot of historical markers that describe the homes and their history as you walk along.
Beautiful Bellevue Avenue is home to Newport's massive mansions and provides a lovely ride throughout.

Busy street in Newport with one section having all the mansions. Some you can see from the street better than others, but all are well signed.

Stayed at the Hotel Viking, walked the length of Bellevue Avenue several times. The Farmaesthetics Shop was fabulous, so many little shops and restaurants, B&B's.
This street never fails to impress. It gives me the chills just to drive past these beautiful buildings. The architecture is something seen in the historical cities of Europe, but we have it here. Take a drive sometime.
