I really enjoyed the tour! The guide was very friendly and funny, and the fort itself is amazing, unfortunately we came in between two festivals so the fort grounds were not at their best.

This tour is not very long (about an hour) because many parts of the fort are not renovated and suitable for touring. For this reason as well you can not wander around the inside of the fort looking around on your own after the tour....More

Very interesting part of American History. Tour guide very informative and really did an excellent job of describing the history of the fort. Another plus is it is at the beautiful Newport harbor which is worth the trip itself

I loved the tour ! The guide took his time, displayed a passion for the Fort, and made history come alive. Great views of the bay. Afterwards I took a 2.2 mile pleasant walk along the water and Park grounds.

There are great views of the bay from the Fort. Great picture taking and there is also a food truck. We had the clam cakes. They were a little fishy.

We called in here having had a long day viewing the mansions so a nice walk along the harbour was a great way to get some fresh sea air. At the end of the harbour was what we thought was a genuine sea clipper but...More

Is Fort Adam's worth the trip in the dead of winter? We have an 11yo boy who loves all things Military, but if it's too cold, he won't want to go.
