For the best view of the Harbor bring a lawn chair with cooler full and just watch. The boat, the people, your surroundings and be happy. Many places to park along the road which leads down to the water just over the hill and to...More

Fort Adams hosts many attractions- a scenic 2 mile bay walk, President Eisenhower's summer home, a harbor with a ferry stop as well as the historic Fort itself. A great inexpensive afternoon!

I really enjoyed the tour! The guide was very friendly and funny, and the fort itself is amazing, unfortunately we came in between two festivals so the fort grounds were not at their best.

This tour is not very long (about an hour) because many parts of the fort are not renovated and suitable for touring. For this reason as well you can not wander around the inside of the fort looking around on your own after the tour....More

Very interesting part of American History. Tour guide very informative and really did an excellent job of describing the history of the fort. Another plus is it is at the beautiful Newport harbor which is worth the trip itself

I loved the tour ! The guide took his time, displayed a passion for the Fort, and made history come alive. Great views of the bay. Afterwards I took a 2.2 mile pleasant walk along the water and Park grounds.
