I always love visiting the many shops along Thames (pronounced like "James" here) Street. There are quaint little shops with friendly owners/staff and plenty of places to eat and drink, especially Brick Alley Pub. Thames Street is quite long so there's plenty to see, shop, eat.

On any day, warm or cold this is a lovely little walk. You can meander through all the little shops and cafe's along your way. You could spend hours here with all there is to see!

We visited after some places closed for the season so we did a lot of window shopping. This is a great town and I hope to come back again when more places are open.

Great choice of quality shops rather than chains / tatt (British word for junk ie ornaments, junk, garbage, trash, useless items)

I enjoyed walking from one side of the town to the other. It's such a nice street with shops and restaurants. Some of the house you will pass by have been a round for a very long time. Some of there are very nice and well kept.

Plenty to do while walking along Thames Street. Some of my favorites were Newport Fudgery- getting an elephant ear pastry as well as Virgin and Aged (oil and vinegar shop), and then Mokka coffeehouse. Great destination for a lazy stroll. Plenty to eat, see and do.

Great street to walk up and down, looking for a great souvenir. Nice shops, some expensive and some fun, touristy stores.
