What an exciting street with lots of food, shopping and fun! My first time in Rhode Island and it has not disappointed us yet! We immediately started with Thames Street. Lots of family, kids, couples just out enjoying the beautiful day!

I'm usually in Newport off season. But my son lives there all summer he says....restaurants and bars usually close by 1am. The small shops usually close down between 8-9pm. Have a fun time in August!! It's also the right... More

Parking on side streets is free if you get there early. Lot parking on season runs $10.00, off season you can park there for free. Meter parking is available on Thames St. Small cars are best, as this is a tight fit and... More
