Breathtaking views. Fabulous museum. Lovely guides - just a remarkable location. The price while not cheap ($25 pp) is well worth the expense. The are serveral very interesting collections and a Renoir in Doris' very garish bedroom. Will go back again and again.
We had visited several of the Newport "cottages" but never this one. Our docent was very knowledgeable and made the tour extremely interesting. Great location. We enjoyed walking the grounds after our tour
We took self-guided tour (every Wednesdays 5 - 7 pm, other option Saturdays 3 - 5 pm at summer season, 10 dollars pper) and enjoyed our free time inside the house and in the garden. No flash photos inside. Free parking outside. You can take...More
Home is beautiful and tour was very informative. Seems to have less rooms open for viewing than other homes in Newport. Make sure you get a chance to see Rough Point and the gardens.
The secret life of Doris Duke and her material world are all for you to enjoy when you visit this recent addition to the Newport Mansion experince. Still a tour with guides, which are a joy compared to the dumb reality of the other mansions,...More
As a group we toured all the guts of this awesome home, of limit places to the public and also the public place's too. MONEY TALKS.

Stunning property in every way. Great historical landmark. (This gem is available at a discounted touring price on Wednesday nights and Saturdays.)
