An amazing day out. We caught the purple trolley here early as we were told it gets very busy. Very organised entrance no bags permitted, $5 storage fee. We got our tickets for a 20 minute documentary and boat rude to the memorial, stick to...More

I've been here multiple of times before but this time we weren't able to go to the Arizona memorial. The boat just kinda stopped in front of the memorial. Unlike before, the boat will drop us off and wait for us. I wasn't sure if...More

We booked the “most popular “ tour. I believe it was near the top of the price list. Well the Arizona Memorial is not open. Was supposed to open in October. Maybe next spring. The self guided tour was just bad. Don’t take a purse...More

This was a great tour, shame that the Memorial was closed and the bus driver wasn't the friendliest, it is a bit rushed to see everything properly

We thought there would be too many visitors on this historic day to do anything but drive past the park but instead, we found light traffic, plenty of parking and easy access to the exhibits. There was a hushed reverence throughout the park that lent a...More

We stored our large bags (still carry on size) at the airport baggage storage by baggage claim 18 and were charged $12 per piece, even though it was only for a few hours. The Pearl Harbor bag check (no bags bigger than a clutch purse...More

We had the honour of visiting Pearl Harbor on Friday 30th November 2018. Whilst there are many tour options. Some cheap some not, Hoku tours provided us with a very personalised & professional tour. We were very fortunate to have PABLO with a P as...More

Visiting the site of one of the most horrific surprise attacks is not only amazing but emotional. So grateful for all of these wonderful men and women that died or barely survived the beginning of WWII. A great way to give back to them is...More

We were looking forward to this part of our trip for a while. We knew ahead of time that the USS Arizona aspect was not an option due to safety reasons. Somehow they still charge us for the short boat ride that takes you in...More

I hear that it may take a few weeks or months for the boat ramp to be repaired. I recommend checking their website for updates.
I have booked the Arizona Memorial for an 11 am Tour. Now we are planning to do the audio guided tour, and it says add an extra hour to the tour so the audio plays for the museum/exhibit so were planning on getting there for 9.45 doing the museum and then the Arizona. Then going to the aloha stadium swap meet. Now, I have found out that day because of a football game the swap meet is closed at 12. Is it an option for me to the swap meet first. Get to Pearl Habor for maybe 10.15/10/30 doing the Arizona with the audio tour, and doing the museum after with the audio tour? Does it make too much of a difference? Now, I know more about the history then my family does, so I'm not sure if its a disadvantage to them, to do it that way round, or if its possible. I've never been to Peal Harbor before.

Yes! Swap meet opens at 8 and it is a 10 min drive to Pearl Harbor. That would be a perfect day. Bring water! It is hot and you will be thirsty. It’s expensive to buy. Another tip- find a Costco and get the 40 pack... More
