This national park was such a great place to visit and to learn about what took place there during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

A beautiful place to visit. We met a survivor of the attack who signed our book & took a picture with us. Very sacred place!

Don't book a hotel or ship tour as this is easy and inexpensive to do on your own because lots of buses from Honolulu stop there, but they take forever so you need to allow about an hour and a quarter from where we got...More

My family actually stayed in Maui, but my dad is a Vietnam Veteran. He decided that we were going to fly to Oahu for the day, so his granddaughters could visit Pearl Harbor. It was a great tour and well worth it. My mom went...More

Having missed getting the free online tickets, we opted to take one of the many tours - my choice was one that took you to the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri. I will do a separate review of them. Pearl Harbor touring is a...More

Unfortunately, due to an issue with the dock for the Arizona memorial, we were not allowed to go into the memorial. That being said, this was still an emotional experience. The boat ride took a little more time to allow both sides a clear view...More

Although we could not go on the Arizona memorial, this is a must see for everyone of us. It reminds you that freedom is not free, and that we must enjoy our lives to the fullest.

I visit Pearl Harbor every time I visit Hawaii. I find it a very somber place to visit, and always find myself shedding a tear. But it’s an important moment in history and I like to pay my respects.

It’s about $140 per ticket to fly between the islands. If you want t see Pearl Harbor you need to book the tickets on-line before you leave - otherwise you will be on walk-in to PH and numbers are limited. It’s a great trip.

Google maps says there is a bus every 40 minutes that takes 10 minute to the airport. I'd expect you need to be there 1 hour before your flight??? If by bus you need to check what time they leave. Plenty of time to do the... More
