Welcome to Waikiki Trolley! Where you can relive the glory days of Honolulu...

Welcome to Waikiki Trolley! Where you can relive the glory days of Honolulu when streetcars and trolleys carried people all through town, and experience Hawaii the old style way in our open air trolleys! Enjoy the romance of polished brass, smooth wood, and the breeze in your hair as you explore the town. The Pink Line is your transportation all through Waikiki and over to Ala Moana Shopping Center. These Trolleys operate every 10 minutes for fast, easy, inexpensive transportation at just $2.00 per trip. The Red Line is a fully narrated guided sightseeing tour through Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, Chinatown and points in between. This leisurely schedule allows you to hop off at any spot to explore and then catch the next Trolley to resume your tour approximately 40 minutes later. The Green Line is also a fully narrated guided sightseeing tour and heads off in the opposite direction visiting spots in Waikiki, the Honolulu Zoo, the Aquarium, Diamond Head, along the scenic coast and off to Kahala Mall for shopping and movies. Hop on and off wherever you like! Our waikikitrolley website lists information on passes for all lines including multi-day combo passes for unlimited access on all three lines. Special discounts apply to on line purchases, but tickets can also be purchased at ticket booths at DFS shopping center and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Tickets can also be purchased on board each Trolley or from most tour desks throughout Waikiki. A fun new offering from Waikiki Trolleys is the addition of complimentary walking tours with any red line trolley ticket. The Honolulu 1941 tour walks you back to the war years for a look at life in Honolulu, what the island did to get ready, and the life of a sailor on liberty, with a peek into the infamous red light district of the time. The tour is Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15, 11:15, and 1:15 at the Aloha Tower Trolley stop. Waikiki Trolleys - Powered by Aloha!

I was very disappointed with the trolleys. Hard to understand my research on them before I left Australia. We only went for one trolley ride in the 8 days we were there. We rode "The Bus" the rest of the time and found that transport great!

If you go to Hawaii in Waikiki, take all the hop on hop off buses. Red, purple, blue, green and pink trolleys. You will most of all of the honolulu island. It is well worth it he price. Then you can go to about 95% of the sites. You will be able to walk to a lot of them.

I bought Pink and Red Line tours. I got on the Pink Line and showed the driver my electronic ticket (noted in the purchase as would be enough) however he demanded that I buy the ticket from HIM. In order to get to the other part of the town where there is a “central stop” I had to pay extra... More

I was confused because there is more than one trolley and they go different places. We took the red trolley which went downtown. Denise was our driver and she was very interesting and I enjoyed the ride. We got off a few times. If I had understood it better I might have taken other lines but by the time I... More

Very easy and very cheap ($2 per person) way to travel around the streets of Waikiki and surrounding areas. Only complaint for me would be that there are too many trolleys that are exclusive to the Japanese tourists ONLY. (I think I recall counting 1 'regular' tourist trolley to about 8 Japanese exclusive trolleys. Add to this that the Japanese... More
