This is a gorgeous place to visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It’s loaded with gorgeous landscaping and each animal exhibit looks like a wonderfully designed garden. I don’t agree with the reviews that characterize it as short of animals...More

If you like Where's Waldo you will love this zoo. It was very hard to see any animals as there were not very many. We saw no tigers or lions. The only saving grace was the elephant feeding. It was wonderful. Lots of empty cages....More

The zoo itself is shade covered. There are lots of birds, which was its original purpose. There are several African and Indian animals. It is a neat visit. A little expensive at $19 with no discounts unless you are military or a native. They do...More

Some aspects were good. Can see some areas that have been recently upgraded. The African and reptile areas were good. But the zoo is showing its age in most places

We bought tickets to the zoo as part of the Waikiki Trolley 7 day pass. Made this a inexpensive visit. The zoo is small but has several interesting exhibits. The Komodo Dragon is interesting as you do not normally see these. We were there in...More

Had a great day here, despite the rain lol. This is a wonderful small zoo, very relaxed atmosphere and you can get up close to the animals. All the animals also seemed to be very active with the gibbons putting on an acrobatic display and...More

We had been to this zoo years ago and had fond memories of it. However, it seems to be showing its age. We did see elephants, giraffes and a glimpse of the tiger. To be fair it was a hot day so they were in...More

I've never been to a worse zoo. There are giraffes and pretty birds; and that's it! By NO means is this zoo worth the price of admission. Go to the beach, the aquarium, an Elvis show...ANYthing else, I BEG you!

Half the enclosures were blocked off or empty. No hippo’s, elephants or warthogs as advertised. The glass to view the animals was filthy and for 19.00 per person I felt it was a massive rip off. One of the worst zoo’s I have ever visited!

While the zoo itself is nice, there isn't much special here. Great place to just walk around. Wasn't very crowded but not sure it's worth the price. Given the location, though, I still rated it very good. Just a short walk from the beach

Sorry, we walked. Our room overlooked zoo so I can offer that parking lot was nearly empty in the morning, but very full the rest of the day. I noticed that some people were parking there and heading to beach. The zoo is... More
