The aquarium is small. They have only one shark - but a very amazing one - and not many space with aquariums. But this place has incredible species! And they grow coral and make you pay attention for the reef destruction caused by the sunscreens....More

Narrow space around exhibits and hard to see when really busy. The exhibits were great and informative

Although this aquarium is small my fifteen month old daughter loved it. The entrance fee is very reasonable. Many of the fish tanks are at a low level and there is nothing they can really touch that they shouldn’t. The staff were very friendly. Would...More

This is a small but beautiful aquarium that will teach you about the local sea life and habitats. Don't miss the very playful monk seal!

This aquarium was very small but interesting. I would recommend it if you have children and have about an hour to visit. It was close to our hotel so we were able to walk to it.

by no means the largest aquarium, it is still worth the price of admission, and can teach a lot about Hawaiian marine life.

We have been to many aquariums in our travels and this one is just average. The best thing about it is the wonderfully engaging docents who actively share their knowledge with guests. The docent who was by the sea urchins during our visit offered to...More

The fish tanks have some of the most colourful sea life I've ever seen. It is expensive and isn't very big though, so if you aren't into fish, I don't think I would recommend going.

We were looking for stuff to do with our 16 month old--a break from the beach. This was perfect for him. It's not a large aquarium, but they do have some interesting sea life in there. They had some big windows that were low to...More

Our toddler only lasted about an hour, but you may stay longer if your kids are older/more engaged - unlikely you'll spend more than 3 hours I would think.

No sea turtles at Waikiki Aquarium. We did do the turtle tour with Holokai Catamaran, highly recommended and not overly expensive.

No sea turtles or an larger sea animal exhibits because the aquarium is quite small. If you want to see sea turtles in the ocean and lots of other great stuff book a tour with Tourguide Cliff for a full island tour that... More
