This mid-size museum is in a Tuscan style building. There is a wide variety of exhibits including traditional Western art, Filipino Art, and traveling exhibits. It is a good way for those who enjoy art museums to spend a couple hours.

Interesting if you are into local contemporary art. A few sculptures as well. If you are looking for more world art, this is not the place. Building being renovated, so a bit messy, but expected.

This museum is not small about 15 collection rooms and courtyards. There are always exhibishion as well. But depending on your schedule, 1 hour or 2 hours will be walking through all collection rooms.

I concur with the other two respondents, but would also add that there is paid parking at the Blaisdell Center across Thomas Square and metered parking adjacent to the museum and Linekona Center.

There's an office just behind the admissions desk where people leave packs and suitcases. The staff is very helpful.
