This museum has a lot of stuff to see, Saw a Rodin, Picasso, ... It was really great and offered a lot of variety. It is worth taking a good 2+ hours to see it all.

The museum has a very welcoming staff, nice collection of Hawaiian art, Islamic art, a very good cafe ( need reservations), and an excellent gift shop.it's indoor-outdoor architecture feels so Hawaiian.

A beautiful place to visit if you are interested in art or even architecture. Lovely cafe. Many famous painters represented. I was excited to see a Monet water lily painting. Other impressionist artists include Gauguin, Picasso,Bonnard,Pissarro.

This museum is not small about 15 collection rooms and courtyards. There are always exhibishion as well. But depending on your schedule, 1 hour or 2 hours will be walking through all collection rooms.

I concur with the other two respondents, but would also add that there is paid parking at the Blaisdell Center across Thomas Square and metered parking adjacent to the museum and Linekona Center.

There's an office just behind the admissions desk where people leave packs and suitcases. The staff is very helpful.
