This is one of 5 gardens that comprise the Botanical Gardens of Honolulu and is well worth visiting. It is a short distance from downtown and has the most amazing trees to enjoy along with wonderful landscaping and orchids.

We were riding the trolley and decided to get off and check out these gardens. It takes about an hour to stroll through. The flowers are beautiful and the trees are magnificent. We enjoyed taking the time to see the gardens.

A beautiful peaceful and well-planned oasis in the middle of a busy city. Parts of it were in existence during the time of King Kamehameha the first, going back to the late 1700's. Well worth the visit!

In August 2017 I made this one of the botanical gardens that I visited while on Oahu. I'm so glad I did. The day I was there was hot, but the tree cover was fantastic with the large trees casting speckled shade on the grounds....More

I really enjoyed my afternoon in this garden. The selection of trees is very impressive, and a lot of them are really tall ! The smells are also part of the experience, some of the trees can be smelled from quite a distance. I quite...More

Yes - many alternatives. I believe we took the red line, hop-on hop-off tour and it was one of the stops.
