This is not a major sight to see if it's your first time to Oahu. There are many more things for your to do and see, but if you have some extra time and your looking for some fresh tropical fruit that's cheaper and sweeter...More

It was a mad house but what do you expect at a market? Cops directing traffic and lots of people everywhere from everywhere. Food and produce vendors mostly. One gent playing a guitar. Recommend you hike diamond head first then hit the market after. Just...More

This a very small market. I would shut it down. There are only three stalls for the Ladies Toilet and last Saturday only one was working. There is NO sanitation for the vendors. Yuck. Not even a place for them to wash their hands. The...More

I did come early, at 8 AM but the crowd was already there. Luckily I walked, because there was a good deal of traffic trying to find places to park. The market itself had plenty of good places to buy ready to eat food. I...More

Great selection of food, prepared meals and produce. There were some Hawaii-only items that I don't see elsewhere (the giant avocados and strange fruits) so that was very interesting. Too bad can't bring back to mainland. Lots of jelly / jam stalls when we were...More

Great selection of food.. Yes it can get busy and there are a number of 'us tourist types' there but if its not a busy market then its not very good...and this one is very good. You get to try fresh cooked local food, buy...More

Lots of tasty foods to be had here! I went after an early morning hike up Diamond Head. It was fun to walk through the market and try different items, but the sheer number of people made getting through difficult. Tour buses bring folks in,...More

Not a big market. There was a lot more prepared food than I was expecting but was able to get some fresh cucumber, cilantro and onions for ceviche. Bought some good local honey and kettle corn. Both were delish.

Lots and lots of food - more than anything else, there are tons of food. Oh, and people, so super crowded - this must be on the list of places to go as bus loads of tourists are everywhere. Be prepared to wait in long...More
