Much to our surprise, we were the only people touring the Bowfin. Perhaps it was due to the fact that we were early in the morning. It is really interesting to walk through this submarine and see how they lived. Would highly recommend this and...More

A living history museum, I consistently found it amazing what our servicemen and women endured in the pursuit of freedom. Absolutely amazing experience

The USS Bowfin was very interesting. It was small, and you respect what the submariners might have gone through living in such tight quarters. It was interesting to see the bunks in the torpedo room.

The USS Bowfin is located at the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument at Pearl Harbor. Admission is reasonable and grants you full access to the sub, still equipped as though she were in port for a resupply mission before setting out to sea...More

It was fantastic to visit and explore a submarine. The exhibit was very easy to navigate and the audio tour was excellent.

There is a museum included with the sub tour, which definitely makes it worth the purchase. The sub was tiny for a sub, especially after visiting the Mighty Mo! If the park is about to close and you still haven't done this, I wouldn't return...More

Better that I thought it would be. A fascinating view of the inner workings of a military submarine. Well worth taking the audio tour to get all the insight needed to appreciate the features of the sub. Give yourself a good 90 mins to go...More

I don't think so. I recall waiting for the Arizona film to start and then going out to the site but I think for the submarine you just go whenever.
