A good experience to get an idea of what our sailors lives were like during the war. The tour allowed us to walk through the submarine and see and understand just how small the quarters were and appreciate their service to our country.

I highly recommend the audio tour on this one. The information is great that you receive from each step while you are aboard the sub.

This is our second time through the Bowfin and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Arrived too late to get tickets to Arizona Memorial (which is excellent) so we toured this instead with first time Hawaii guests. They LOVED it. Very reasonable price and no lines. Highly...More

Anything Navy gets a thumbs up from me! Kids lived the sub... It's free too which is also nice. It's right near the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor to plan for both.

There is so much to see at Pearl Harbor, I personally feel the time would be better spent looking at other attractions there.. We were there all day, very humid and going down to the Bowfin, was just hotter. There were also kids running through,...More

I don't think so. I recall waiting for the Arizona film to start and then going out to the site but I think for the submarine you just go whenever.
