We took this tour through the Pearl Harbour website But its run by Discover Hawaii tours. What people don't tell you is this costs you $140 which includes the admission to the Pearl Harbour site (which is free) the admission to the Pacific Museum and The Missouri site. all of which are worth it BTW. However, with this tour, you... More

Wife and I did the 11:00 AM docent guided tour. On 16 Mar. We were first directed to the theater to watch a 15 minute movie depicted the events leading up to and subsequent to 7 Dec 1941. Our docent, Eddie Young, was excellent. He was a 9 year old youngster living in Pearl Harbor and witnessed the bombings, explosions,... More

From a Flying Tiger to a Japanese Zero, what one may have only read about or seen in a movie, comes to life here. The bullet holes preserved in the glass of Hangar 79, also bring to life the tragedy of December 7th. And the movie in the entrance building, is a poignant description of those times. If one has... This museum was included in our ticket at Pearl Harbor and was a very nice surprise. It is one of the best aviation museums I've seen. The planes here are from WWII and are displayed in a nice way.

This was included in our Pearl Harbour pass we had purchased. Was interesting to walk around and see the different planes and helicopters on display. We were lucky to chat with volunteer Ron for over 30 minutes who gave us history of most of the planes in the museum and information about the happening on the Pearl Harbour attack. We... More

The Pacific Aviation Museum is on Ford Island and occupies two hangars and the Ford Island Control Tower. Unless you are currently in the military, you need to take the free bus from the USS Arizona parking lot. The Pacific Aviation Museum is the next bus stop after visiting the USS Missouri. It is an excellent museum. There are aircraft... More

Oh Lordy, they have an F-14, any one born in the seventies grew up watching Topgun will be enamoured with the F-14 Tomcat, it is the first time I have seen one in the flesh and it did not disappoint. Majestic, curvy and oh so pretty. They also have an F-5, the baddie in Topgun and a Huey chopper from... More

In regards to the Laniākea Café at The aviation museum at Pearl Harbour. The food was great but the service from the check out was absolutely shocking. Some young girl early 20's dark hair, Hawaiian looking acted as though she didn't want to be there, sour looking face and sour attitude. When she delivered our food to the table she... More

We visited this Museum as part of am all day Pearl Harbor tour with Hoku tours. Museum has obligatory gift shop and cafeteria. Nice orientation film starts your journey into the past. Very nice presentation of WWII aircraft. Don't miss hanger 79 outside museum. Preserved as it was after the December 7th attack. Bullet holes in windows and walls. Get... More
