Walked through here on the way to the Army Museum. Very nicely landscaped and laid out with some monuments and statues in the front. Much like all the parks in Honolulu, very pretty.

The part of the beach is packed with military families. Sand is less corals and easier to walk on but the water has corals and really painful. Wear beach shoes.

This is the best ocean front spot on Waikiki! Bravo to our military! The sandy beach is clean and the park is beautifully maintained and managed.

Lacking immediate services but you are minutes away from anything you could desire, this is a nice preserved green belt that extends to the beach where our govt owns two hotels for use by those who have served our country.

If you are a guest at Hale Koa there is a parking garage across the street for less that $10 a day and it is secure.

the milatary resort is next door. you have to be a veteran to stay there or active. The park is next door and anyone can go there. it is no big deal, just a big grass area next to the beach.

Hale Koa hotel will suit military. As for the Ft De Russy Park, it has the museum which will suit vintage WWII enthusiasts etc.
