This is right on Waikiki and consists of a few picnic tables located under shade trees. We used to visit the park every weekend when I was a kid, and it has changed a lot. The public is not restricted from walking in and using the tables, but the rest of the area and Hale Koa is restricted to military... More

This park is absolutely perfect! huge and beautiful, plus Koa beach right next to it is so much less crowded than Waikiki and a beautiful beach.

We tried to stay away from the Waikiki Beach area so only experienced this park walking through. It's a small park and it's nice but I wouldn't recommend planning to spend more than a few minutes there.

This is a great beach park in the middle of Waikiki. The beach is very nice with a paved walkway that makes it wheelchair accessible. There are places to eat and shop and shaded picnic areas with barbecue grills. It would be a great place to spend quality time with family and friends.

Far removed from Pearl Harbor and the memorial cemetery, this former military site includes a few monuments to remember the old fort. A nice local park to relax before heading to the beach.

We walked through here a couple of time on our way to Ala Moana shopping centre. Ala Moana is about a 20 - 30 min walk from Waikiki centre, depends where you are staying. This has a few trees if you need some shade, but it's a very restful park and worth the walk if you like these sort of... More

Park has grassy area and picnic benches and charcoal grills. You can watch the fireworks from the Hilton from here as well.

This is a great place to get off the beach for a while, especially on a hot, sunny day. Be warned, there can be the occasional homeless person staking out a claim to a spot.

Located at the end of Wakiki it is a nice small museum located in a old WWI coastal artillary bunker. It is also close to the Hale Koa (House of the Warrior) the Military Hotel used by active, retired and other government types.
