One sunny crowded day and one rainy no crowd day. Both awesome experience. 5$ for the little shuttle down and up for 2 persons saves a lot of energy. The staff is very nice! Parking is an issue. We were good at 2:30 PM on a sunny day. But it was full at noon on the first try. No parking... More

Watching the natural pool was out of this world. My whole family & I were in awe. You must see this and I would suggest it's combined with attending the Chiefs luau as its on the way or visiting the sea life park.

A beautiful bay that offers a pristine marine ecosystem excellent for snorkelling. You don't have to go far to see the fishes and there are lots of them and if you have an underwater camera, do bring it. Remember the park is closed on Tuesday as it is rest and feeding day for the fish :) $7.50 entrance fee gives... More

My family of four booked a tour and by tour I mean they drove us there and gave us our snorkel gear. I would skip and tour. Make sure you get there early bring lunchroom money for snacks, towels, and sunscreen and swim with all the beautiful fish. It is something you don't want to miss. It's great for inexperienced... Best snorkeling experience ever! They require everyone to watch a 15 minutes safety video, including some information of the bay. If you are visitors, I would recommend you rent the gear over there. It's about $12-15 for a set, very handy and good quality as well. Don't forget they close every Tuesday.

I would absolutely recommend this national park to and one whether, age, physical shape, or likes! It was by far one of the most beautiful places in all of Hawaii and educational at the same time. One can snorkel, swim, hike, or sun bathe! The natural resources in this park are a hidden gem!

We arrived at Hanauma Bay early about 6:50am, like all the reviews I had read recommended. There was plenty of parking and no lines at the ticket window. We watched the 7:15 movie and were on our way down the hill to the beautiful beach. There were a few people who had arrived before us, maybe 2 dozen, but the... More

Great place to scuba, snorkel or just relax in the sun. Lost of wildlife and things to see. Get there early or late for parking.

Hanauma Bay is one of my favorite places that I've been to. Every time I visit Hawaii, I make plans to come to this wonderful place again. The snorkeling is safe and mostly in shallow water. All you really have to do is stand and put your mask into the water and you will see many different colored fish. When... More

It is a great place for beginners or family's with small child. If you don't arrive very early you can't find parking and can expect a long wait to enter. Then there is a wait for the information video and the stamp to actually enter the Bay. The extra few dollars for the ride to the bottom is worth it.... More
