If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! It is beautiful and the perfect place for my first ever snorkeling experience! It is just as pictured and if you go early (6:30amish) you can beat most the crowds! HIGHLY recommend it!

Beautiful waters and environment. Need to watch short video about the bay, and be sure to use reef safe sunscreen. Snack bar is well stocked and delicious. We had a great time!

This place is absolutely stunning! We got to Hanauma Bay around 7-7.30 and the car park was starting to get full, so would definitely recommend arriving early. There is a fee to enter the bay and you are required to watch a video before you...More

Absolutely spectacular bay with the aqua blue waters that Hawaii is famous for. Took snacks as other posts said and swam with my valuables in a waterproof case. Beautiful swimming spot with amazing fish to see. The coral was a little disappointing for anyone that...More

Located on the North Shore of Hawaii where there are way fewer tourists. This place is a beautiful ocean beach! Cost is 7.00 for a day pass, but well worth it! Almost a hidden cove!

Left here a little disappointed. It’s a drama to get in. They make you wait in the blistering sun without any shade before you then have to watch a 9 minute induction video before you can do down to the beach! Incredible! The beach is...More

I was last here 13 years ago and remembered walking into the water and being surrounded by tropical fish. Now you have to swim way out to find any, making it not young kid friendly. It was too much work taking a tour. Had to...More

A must see in Oahu. Snorkeling a must. Lots of coral and beautiful fish. It does get crowded so go early. Stay away from weekends if possible. Take food if you are staying awhile. Also beach equipment.

The place is like a paradise!! Crystal clear water, powdered sand, awesome place for snorkeling or just spending the whole day. Entrance fee is $7.50. There's a mandatory educational video that you need to watch before being allowed to proceed to the beach. If you...More

Well as of the last trip,2014 , it seemed easy. We used UBER two or three times. Hanauma Bay is very popular. I'd call ahead of time .

I would just uber it. Bus is too hard because you still have to walk good 30-40 mins from the gate of entrance til the beach. Entry cost US$7.50
