We made a quick drive up the hill and were glad we did. You can see WAY more than I can describe here. Parking is limited, so go early or just be patient. You can park a little down the hill and walk to the...More

The Tantalus Lookout Puu Ualakaa State Park gives a spectular view of this side of the island. It is not a tourist-type place with a lot of people because no buses can climb the winding roads, which provide a view in themselves. So it was...More

You can see a lot of the island from this view point. You have clear views of Waikiki, Diamond Head and the Ocean . Just breathtaking , highly recommended , and great for picture taking.

After long curvy driving up, I was enjoying great views of Honolulu, beaches and diamond Head. I really liked it’s view. Don’t miss this place. No other activities but enjoyable views.

This activity is a bit off the beaten path yet well worth a visit. Drive into very lush vegetation, rainforest ecosystems and huge trees before you reach a spectacular viewpoint; The Tantalus Lookout! The very winding and narrow roads leading up to the state park...More

Well worth the twisty, turny road to the lookout. The views are incredible. Parking can be a challenge.

Long and windy road but very enjoyable. It is great to do before sunset. You can appreciate all the beautiful residences on the Honolulu hillsides. A few photo ops can be found along the way too! If you can find the time, do it!

Booked a private photography tour and the thieves were waiting for their next victim. The tour guide said it was safe to leave my gear in the vehicle. Nope. While I was photographing Diamond Head, the thieves waited until we walked off, parked next to...More

Route 15 of The Bus goes up and around Tantalus. The park is a half mile walk from the bus route.
