Really good service to anywhere on Oahu. Air conditioed, clean and spacious vehicles. A bus station at all stops. Signeage and announcements at each stop. Seniors pay $1.00 with Medicare card.

Used the bus to get out to Pacific Aircraft Museum at Pearl. Very good, reasonable price and regular buses. Would recommend.

In our week in Waikiki we used the bus for short trips but were warned off going long trips. Others had taken around 2.5 hours to get from Waikiki to the outlet shops at Waikele. We took a shuttle.

I agree with the other posters. An hour and a half for the bus to be safe. It's always packed and makes many stops.

It's been a while but I recall it takes about 1-1/2 hours from Waikiki. Sorry, but this website will not allow website links, so Google 'The Bus system in Honolulu. Hope this helps.
