We are big Revolutionary War buffs and have passed through the Philadelphia area for most of our life (50+ years). Have never visited this spot. Decided to take a detour on our recent visit to Washington, D.C. Was very underwhelmed. The scenery was spectacular but...More

One day is not enough to see the entire site and really soak in the history but because there is no charge you can always spread out the visit. We drove around the park after visiting the main visitor center and watching the movie. We...More

We spent only 3 hours at the site. Needed 2-3 more hours to experience everything Our 2 teen girls and 3 younger girls loved exploring the cabins, grounds, and playing in the canons

Beautiful national park. You can drive through it or take one of the many walking trails. The area around Washington's headquarters is a nice place with kids. Because of the size it never seems overcrowded. A very peaceful place to visit

This is a great park to learn about a really important struggle in American history. Note that the guided trolley tours of the park are NOT offered by the Park Service, but by a private company. However, you buy tickets in the visitors center. Tours...More

Yes cause the last tour starts at 3pm and it’s a 45-minute tour. I recommend to book your tour online as it gets filled quickly.
