This was an amazing display. The history is second to none, and the story of it's location and raising are awesome. This display is located within the Vicksburg Memorial park

Even with limited time this was well worth visiting. Amazing to be able to walk out onto the restored ship. We would definitely return with more time.

The Cairo museum was a good, quick walking museum of an ironclad battleship. Museum is found within the Vicksburg battlefield driving tour.

I enjoyed seeing this boat from the war. A great stop on the road tour through the Vicksburg Military Park. I highly recommend seeing this and it's a great stop for families with children and to tour the museum.
