Stopped here as part of the National Military Park tour. The museum itself contains several artifacts salvaged with the Cairo, including the bell, weapons, and kitchenware. The ship is very interesting, and can even be boarded and viewed from the inside. Great addition to the...More

Haven’t seen anything like it at a civil war battlefield. The thing I most looked forward to in the park. The first attraction in a long time that makes me sorry that I can’t add photos from my iPhone camera to share with readers

No. It is a National Park. Fee per car. If you're a Veteran, you can get a lifetime pass good for all National parks.
