This place has more civil war records and history information than most places in Mississippi and even in the whole South. Bottom floor contains exhibits from local history, and top floor a well-preserved court house room from that period of our history.

Marlene is a very friendly and helpful person, she is very informative about the museum and the whole area. The courtroom is very cool to walk around and see. Very nice gift shop. One of the top attractions for Vicksburg.
