The wide variety of artifacts and exhibits ensures that there is something for everyone. The sights, sounds and smells of the Old Courthouse adds to the experience, you really feel like you are a part of the history you are learning about.

Beautiful old courthouse filled with artifacts from the Civil War as well as other interesting memorabilia of bygone eras! A must see for history buffs and lovers of beautiful old courthouses of the South!

Please go by and see the wonderful artifacts from a long ago era. The museum is chock full of history and the docents are very knowledgeable about the court house and the 47 day siege of the city.

The exhibits were interesting. The historical pieces were nice to see. However we felt that it could be better given the historical significance of Vicksburg. It would have been nice to have learned more about Vicksburg.
