Lots of history and displays. Old courtroom is outstanding. Sits on a bluff above the Mississippi and looked down as the Union army sieged Vicksburg for days and days. Must visit!

The museum was fascinating with 2 floors of historical artifacts from Vicksburg's rich history. Especially interested in civil war era information about Jefferson Davis, General Sherman's family connection to the Klein family (Cedar Grove Mansion), and the Teddy Roosevelt bear hunting episode.

As a history buff, the museum contains many local artifacts and much information of the area. Staff was very friendly and cost is minimal. Building still contains the original courtroom and artifacts located throughout the rest. Nice gift shop with both reproduction and original items.

This museum has so many historical artifacts that it takes some time to view them all. The old courtroom is also very interesting. The building itself is very picturesque.

The museum has so many displays of Union and Confederate items from the siege of Vickburg. Photos allowed. Self guided tour at a reasonable cost. I recommend it!
