We live only about 2 hours away from this museum and for us, it was a quick day trip. Our experience was excellent from start to finish! We arrived on a scorching hot day in June and as soon as we stepped out of our car, a parking lot attendant offered us a ride to the door. It wasn't a... More

I was there just after the 4th of July. The grandkids had just as much fun as the adults. The kids visited the trading post and found out they could do a scavenger hunt for answers around the museum. After they answered all the questions they could turn it in and pick out a rock to keep. It was fun... More

There's alot of history at this location. In the 30's, 40's and 50's this place was super busy with trains. Now it has an occasional amtrak train go thru. The murals have been moved to the Greater Cincinnati International airport. From time to time they have exhibits in this building.

The Museum Center is simply amazing! 3 museums in one location... each as extraordinary as the next. Large and very well organized. So much to see. We went 2 days in a row so we didn't have to rush.

I feel like I grew up in this building, very family-friendly and there is always a special event happening, on top of the two amazing museums and the IMAX theater and kid's area. And don't forget to view the train room! It's free and everyone overlooks it.

The museum was very interesting, I loved the section on old Cincinnati as we had never been to this city before. Take your time reading and exploring the exhibits. Most of all talk to the wonderful employees ready to share their wisdom and knowledge of this great city. Stop in the trolley car and talk to Jerry, what a wealth... More

Being in town during a heat wave with high humidity led us to look indoors for some cooler entertainment options. During the trip we visited the museum of natural history/science, briefly visited some of the traveling exhibits, took a free docent tour of the "behind the scenes" of union terminal and saw an omnimax movie. The docent your was by... More

It is so great to hear that you enjoyed your day at Cincinnati Museum Center, however we apologize that some of the interactive features were not functioning properly. Thanks to Hamilton County voters, we have been able to raise the funds to undergo a major renovation project that will allow us to repair displays, update exhibits and ensure Cincinnati Museum... Why is this only under museums? It is one of the most important architectural treasures in the City. Historians, train officandos, architectural buffs, and really anyone not looking for children museums, all miss this. This is a train station’s train station. Hugh by any cities standards. Built late for grand stations, 1933 I believe, it is safely out of the... More

This Museum has many wonderful displays about local history and seems to be fair-minded in its approach. It has also had some truly amazing touring exhibits like the Vatican Treasures and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
