I recently checked out the Art Museum on a Sunday afternoon. The museum is located by the Eden park on Mt. Adams, an affluent area overlooking the Ohio River. I arrived around 1PM, and the free parking lot was pretty full. The free general admission made me wonder what I would find in the museum, but I was very pleasantly... More

The museum is free but you pay for parking. We normally park down the road in the park and walk over so it's all free. Good to spend a few hours looking at paintings and other artworks. Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Great winter activity to get inside somewhere out of the cold.

That's right, free entry and parking for all. Plus the art ain't that bad either (just kidding!) What a gem in Eden Park. Spacious displays that are free to the public to view, only the Special Exhibits require paying a fee to view. Had lunch at the Terrace Café. I expected the worst, and received a fantastic club sandwich, salad,... More

I've been a few times to see various exhibits, and the exhibits are always very well done. This is probably the best museum in the area, located in a beautiful area of Cincinnati. Can't go wrong. Oh, and parking is now free, just thought I'd throw that in.

Saw the Van Gogh exhibit in December. This museum is very user friendly, inexpensive and the docents are competent and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit and had reservations for lunch in their small restaurant. We had an excellent seats next to the small outdoor area. The service was very good, the food was good and we had a very... More

This first class museum showcases some of the best works from internationally known artist. Traditional, contemporary, and modern art as well as ancient pieces from Middle Eastern cultures are on display. Traveling exhibits add additional interest . Special events will have you coming back for another look. Ample parking and a nice cafe will allow for an extended visit.

Had not visited our museum in many years, what a great place. There is something for everyone here! Nice and easy pace, plenty of volunteers to answer questions, and guide you through. Also, has a nice little café for a coffee or snack while there. Highly recommend for all ages!

Just got back from a spectacular show highlighting Van Gogh and other French painters from the late 1880's called Van Gogh and the Underbrush. It focused on mostly forest scenes and the evolution of this particular french movement. Small charge for the show but the Art Museum has FREE parking and general admission. What a great community resource. It is... More
